Tea lovers know the best tea is whole leaf tea, pure and natural, just as it is picked
from the camellia sinensis plant. Whether you choose green tea, oolong tea or black tea,
it must stay this way to taste its best. A bag, by nature of its design, can only contain
dust and fannings which result in a bitter, poor quality taste. Our unique ball has
distinguished our tea since 1907.
We value as our customers, some of America's most prestigious hotels and restaurants
such as The Grand Hotel, Breakers, Carlisle's, 21, The Essex House and The Rainbow Room.
Our fine tea's are exclusively served at the Culinary Institute of America, where a
special blend of is ordered for the Escoffier Room.
Each year we make some 30 to 50 select blends available. Among them are our traditional
English Breakfast Tea, a soothing Russian Caravan Tea, a rare oolong tea, green gunpowder
tea from China, and a flavorful Ceylon black tea, each packaged in our exclusive Tea Ball.
